Welcome home! Mounds Park Academy is proud to consider applications for midyear transfer students in all grades, on a space available basis. Students seek out midyear transfers for many reasons including corporate relocations, school closings, bullying, and the need for more academic challenge or support. With any midyear transfer, there are many moving parts as students transition their academic lives somewhere new, and often on short notice. Finding a welcoming school community is one of the most important factors in a successful midyear transfer.

欧洲杯哪里投注For midyear applicants, MPA is a particularly welcoming new home in the midst of a difficult situation. Mounds Park Academy has become a popular destination for students transferring midyear because of our close knit, warm community, small class sizes, and our strong values of inclusiveness and open discourse. MPA is home to numerous students from across the Twin Cities who have done midyear transfers at some point in the school year.

Midyear applicants may be unfamiliar with the unique culture at each of the Twin Cities independent schools, and therefore it can be difficult to truly get a sense of which school or schools will offer the best fit for their children. At MPA, applicants may find that perusing our social media pages helps overcome this sense of unfamiliarity. MPA’s social media provides a sense of our community’s culture of inclusivity and welcoming disposition. From capturing the Homecoming Pep Rally on , to documenting our annual senior walk on , to reporting athletics stories and scores via , to promoting student voice with takeovers, MPA’s social media tells our story and helps families to understand the warm and diverse environment on our PreK-12 campus.
